Breast Cancer Action Ottawa – The Kelly Project founded in 2007 by Diane Hayes, was initiated so women having breast surgery in the form of a mastectomy could get a post-surgical camisole as a gift to start her off on the right foot. In 2014, the Kelly Project partnered with Breast Cancer Action Ottawa to become one of their programs. The goal is to ensure all women undergoing a mastectomy will receive the gift. It is our sincere hope that eventually as we raise more money, the program will be extended to women having a lumpectomy.
